Glendale Police are asking for help in identifying two men suspected of multiple burglaries in Glendale and Phoenix.

Glendale Police have connected a string of burglaries in Glendale and Phoenix to two suspects. The two men come by the homes and claim to be new neighbors, previous residents or potential buyers in order to not come across as suspicious, Glendale Police Sgt. Jim Cunningham said in a press release.

To get in the homes, the two men will ask to use the bathroom, for a drink of water, or even to compare floor plans, Cunningham said.

According to Cunningham, once inside, one of the men distracts the victim while the other goes into the bedrooms and looks for valuables.

'In all of the incidents small, easily concealable jewelry was taken,' Cunningham said.

Police describe one of the suspects as a Hispanic man, 40 to 50 years old, 6 feet 3 inches, approximately 200 pounds with grayish hair and the other suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 20 to 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches and approximately 180 pounds. Police believe they drive a red four door vehicle as well.

Residents are cautioned to be vigilant of suspicious persons or unusual requests to enter their homes.

Anyone with information on the suspects, or involved in a similar situation, is asked to call Glendale Police Department at (623) 930-3000
